the past.  Lydia Stone-Fewings and Lucy Lamplough represented present and hopefully future soloists.
Many of those present were disappointed that Retired Bandmaster Bram Williams was not able to be with us for the weekend due to ill health.  Bram was bandmaster for 28 years and the congregation thought particularly of him and his leadership during the Band's rendition of
'Spirit of Joy'.
The festival was concluded by a message from Commissioner Alex Hughes who, along with his wife Ingeborg, led our meetings for the remainder of the weekend.  During the weekend roughly 120 former members of the Corps returned to share fellowship.  Whilst we do not intend to be a Corps that lives in the past, I think most people will agree that it's nice to take a visit occasionally.
