'SAY' Scene - Robert O'Connor
University life has restarted for many in our Corps family.  We have five new starters too.  Their names appear in the About People section of the magazine.  We also welcome back some familiar faces, Mark Cotterill, Ed Morgan, Cheryl Horne and
Craig Stevens.  It is also good to see Marc Richardson back from Summer Camp in America and after his year away in Reading.  We should not forget Laura Chesney, Christopher Poulton,
Helen Sathyaseelan, Nathan Johnson and Emma Cullingworth who have links here too.
Newcomers to the Citadel include David Purkiss from Derby Central who is studying at the Birmingham Conservatoire.  Others to join our fellowship include Dean Heeley as well as a few transfers from the Sunday School - Adam, Jeremy and Jonathan.  I hope I've remembered everybody.
Just a few words about Youth Councils which took place during October.  400 young people gathered together to worship the Lord.  The meetings were to help our young people become totally immersed in God's love and they were asked to drench themselves with the spirit of God.  Here are some of the comments from our young people regarding Youth Councils:

"I had a really good weekend."
"Enjoyed the day. Good to see everyone.  Good sound as usual!  Nice dancing."
"It was great to meet all our friends from Summer School."
"It was good to have a different meeting from normal."
"Yeah, thought the Councils was fab -
good worship, good topics."
"It was very spiritual and it was a good balance of fun and worship, seriousness and socialising.  When I went to the chairs in the front, I felt warm and I really did feel closer to God."
"The Sunday meetings were really good."

Please continue to pray for all our young people, many of whom are facing new challenges every day.  They need God's love surrounding them at this time.
