Congratulations to Retired Corps Sergeant Major Bert Riches who has celebrated his 90^th Birthday.  A report is to be found on page 7 of this magazine.
Congratulations to Major Walter Loomes who celebrated his 80^th Birthday on December 22^nd.  It was also Major Ralph Pearce and Major Joan Richley's birthday on the same day, but neither has yet reached this landmark.  Major Joan has a long way to go of course, but we understand that Major Ralph is getting fairly close.
Congratulations to Neil and Jennie Blessett on the birth of their daughter, Lauren Grace.
A big thank you is due to Veronica Kirk who has for some years undertaken the hall cleaning duties very conscientiously.  She relinquished these duties at the end of the year.

Jackie Weston has relinquished her duties as Primary Sergeant.  Our thanks are due to Jackie who has worked extremely hard and with notable success in the Primary Department for over 25 years.  She assumed the duties of Primary Sergeant in 1993.
Louise Devereux has been welcomed to the Corps, having transferred from Walsall.  She is the granddaughter of Fred Devereux.
Major Margaret Jackson has been bereaved of her brother.  We extend to her and the rest of her family our deepest sympathies and prayers.
