At 10am on Monday morning we all met again at the Citadel. The corps at Douglas had very kindly organised a coach trip around part of the island for our last day. When we set off the rain was falling but within about half an hour the sun came out and the sky completely cleared of all clouds.
We visited the Laxey waterwheel where some of the group climbed to the top of the wheel before descending back down and going down a mine. (Others of us found a nice coffee shop!)
We continued along the coast road to the town of Ramsey where we took over the local fish and chip shop for a superb lunch.

Following this we were able to travel over the mountains following part of the TT motor cycle course before the real machines sped round it later in the day. This was an excellent way to end a very good weekend. Then it was back to the airport for the flight home to Birmingham.

We are aware that many people were challenged and many contacts were made over the weekend. As a band and a corps we must continue to pray for the people in Douglas and trust the encouragement we offered to them will enable them to continue in faith and grow in numbers as they strive to serve the present age in the Isle of Man.
