For the past nine years Birmingham Citadel Band has been privileged to attend the annual Sir Cliff Richard Pro-celebrity tennis tournament in the National Indoor Arena - a vast auditorium seating over 10,000 people and forming part of the International Convention Centre.
You may recognise some familiar faces in the following photographs of the finals. Is that Sir Cliff? Does he always reach the finals? What a star!
The band provides musical support for the 'impromptu' carol concert that traditionally follows the award ceremony. This year our Timbrel Brigade provided added colour as they gave a stunning display to the music Gaudete.
Sir Cliff then entertained the capacity crowd to some old favourites - some solo and one with Daniel O'Donnell - before thrilling them with his 1999 Christmas hit Millennium Prayer.
Finally, he led the 'congregational singing' of Hark! the Herald Angels, and O Come All Ye Faithful accompanied by Birmingham Citadel Band.
