CBC welcomes BCB

On a beautiful spring afternoon, the Senior Band (BCB) travelled from the city centre of Birmingham to the town of Coleford, nestled within the idyllic setting of the Forest of Dean.  Our destination was the Coleford Baptist Church (CBC).  We knew we were assured of a warm welcome (and a wonderful feast!) as the Songster Brigade had visited previously - we were not disappointed.

A near capacity congregation was treated to an evening of varied music.  The church acoustics were ideally suited to brass band playing (an opportunity for CBCB? Coleford Baptist Church Band!).  Everything seemed to combine to produce an evening that was greatly enjoyed and appreciated by everyone who attended the event.  To round off the evening all were invited to stay for supper.
