What a year! This new Millennium shows no signs of letting up. It's a busy life in 'the Army', but well worth it. This weekend we have been privileged to hear one of its top-flight bands - Croydon Citadel. The band gave a superb performance in the Saturday evening festival. Its soloists were of the highest standard, and the whole programme was supported with state-of-the-art multimedia. Bandmaster Iain Parkhouse is to be commended for his excellent band training, and his able chairmanship. Lt. Col. John West, a former commanding officer at Birmingham Citadel, accompanied the band and provided a thought-provoking message. We trust you will enjoy viewing these photos from the weekend.
