It says much for Mark's popularity that there was a near capacity congregation. Friends and relatives had travelled many miles to attend this very significant event.
After the enrolment ceremony Mark shared with the congregation the background to his decision to make this commitment. Everyone was left in no doubt of his sincerity.
His mother and father, together with his brothers, are former soldiers of Birmingham Citadel so it was a delight to welcome them back. They can feel justifiably proud of their eldest son.
