Our reunion weekend commenced on Saturday 6th May with a welcome tea held at Aston University. The venue was perfect in that there was ample space for everyone to mingle and enjoy their meal together yet it was only a short (but hot!) walk from the Citadel. Many old friendships were renewed and new ones established.
The evening festival was held in the Citadel which was filled to capacity. Well over 100 former members and friends of the Corps were able to join with us. As can be seen from the following photographs, it was a wonderful occasion which provided the ideal opportunity to reflect on the past but, more importantly, to focus on the present. All the musical sections took part and there were some exceptionally good solo items. We plan to publish a copy of the programme on this page in the near future.
