Birmingham Citadel Christian Church of The Salvation Army remains strong and vibrant. It is a relevant and dynamic Church in the heart of the second largest city in the United Kingdom. This poses many challenges and also opportunities. We continue as a Church to seek out opportunities of welcoming new people to our blend of traditional and contemporary worship. We are a mission-driven Church in seeking to introduce as many people to Jesus as possible.
Birmingham Citadel is a diverse Church in its cultural mix, having people from African, Indian, Afro-Caribbean and UK backgrounds in our worshipping congregation. It is a Church that seeks to meet the needs of the poor, disadvantaged, marginalised and homeless.
It is our prayer that we shall continue to be faithful to William Booth’s vision of being a Church for the unchurched as well as those who have come to faith in Jesus. Thank you for logging on to our website.
